Donation Guidelines
We gratefully accept a wide range of donations to support our All-City Yard Sale, but to ensure a successful event and maintain high standards, please take note of the following guidelines:
Accepted Donations:
Gently used, clean, and good-condition clothing and shoes (no excessive wear, stains, or damage)
Furniture in good condition, free of major damage or defects
Working electronics and appliances
Books, CDs, and DVDs in good condition
Toys, games, and sports equipment in clean, working condition
Decorative items, artwork, and household goods in good condition
Jewelry and accessories in wearable, presentable condition
Please note that all donated items will be inspected and price-tagged at drop off. We reserve the right to reject any items that do not meet our quality standards.
Some examples of more expensive and larger items that you may consider donating include:
Gently used, high-quality furniture (e.g., dining sets, sofas, dressers, desks)
Vintage or collectible items (e.g., rare books, memorabilia, antique décor)
Large, clean, and working home appliances (e.g., refrigerators, washing machines, dryers)
Outdoor and recreational equipment (e.g., bicycles, kayaks, camping gear)
High-value electronics in good working condition (e.g., laptops, tablets, gaming consoles)
Exercise equipment (e.g., treadmills, ellipticals, weight sets)
Musical instruments in playable condition (e.g., guitars, keyboards, drum sets)
Please note that at the discretion of the organizer, these more expensive and larger items may be listed on marketplace websites prior to the event to maximize their selling potential and reach a broader audience.
Remember, the best donations are those items you've had a hard time parting with because you might use them again in the future, but haven't actually used for more than a year. By donating these items, not only are you decluttering your space, but you're also giving them a new life and purpose while supporting a great cause. Thank you for your generous contributions to our All-City Yard Sale!
