As a part of this process you will choose the program for each child as well as submit all required documentation. You can save your application at anytime and return to finish it later.

You will need the following documents for each student: Birth Certificate, Immunization Records & Previous School Transcripts (if applicable).

Step 2: Submit all documents and fees

An application fee of $50 is charged per student for the first year of application only, which helps cover the costs of processing and reviewing applications. All fees are paid directly through FACTS.

After you have completed your online application AND paid the application fee, a member of our team will review your application and contact you to schedule your family interview. If you have questions about FACTS or need assistance, please contact our school office and we will be happy to assist you.

Step 3: Complete Family Interview

Once you have completed the application and paid the application fee, we will process the documents in FACTS, review them, and reach out to you to schedule a family interview + Placement Test. .

For this interview, we ask that both parents and the students be present. We understand that sometimes this can be difficult, but it is extremely important for us to be able to have an opportunity to meet both parents as well as the students. There are two components to this phase, the interview itself and the placement test.

Family Interview

Your family interview is meant to be a very personal interaction with our senior staff and your family. The goal is to get to know you, your kids, and make sure our values and focus align in order to provide the best educational experience for both parties. We want to make sure you take your walk with Jesus Christ seriously, are serious about your child's education, and connect with you on a personal level. You can expect the interview to range anywhere between 30-60 minutes.

Placement Test

The placement test occurs at the same time the family comes in for the interview. The student will be proctored by one of our staff members while the parents meet with the senior staff. Students will be provided with questions in both math and language arts (reading, writing, grammar). The test will not be lengthy and it seeks only to help us understand where your student is in terms or their ability in these core competencies. The test will be age and grade appropriate, but do not be shocked if there are questions your student does not know the answer to. The goal is to help place each student, not to disqualify them from enrollment.

Step 4: Determination + Enrollment

The last phase of the application process is the deliberation phase. We take each application and family very seriously, and to that end we have a process for deciding who is admitted. After your family interview, you will receive the determination decision within 72 hours via email.

Once we contact you, if your students have been accepted, we will provide you all the necessary details to get them enrolled and ready for their first day of school. Please be on the lookout for emails from VCA once your student is accepted as they will contain pertinent information to get your family ready for the fall. We can’t wait to see you here!
