Admissions

Begin your family's application today.

Four steps and a family interview stand between here and your first day as a Vintage Warrior. Start by seeing how the week, and the cost, come together for your family.

A teacher works one-on-one with a student at their desk.
Program Options

One school. Three ways to attend.

Every student gets the same classical, Christ-centered education. What changes is how many days a week your family is on campus. Your week is built from two tracks. Choose one, or combine them for the full week.

Track one
Classical Core
Schedule: on campus for Classical Core Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
Track two
Enrichment
Schedule: Enrichment Days Tuesday, Thursday.
Full week
Full-Time
Schedule: on campus for Classical Core Monday, Wednesday, Friday; Enrichment Days Tuesday, Thursday.

Pre-K3 attends Tuesday and Thursday only, as a gentle first year on campus.

Estimate Your Year

Build your family's plan, see the real total.

Pick a grade and how you'll attend. We add the fees every family pays and any discounts you qualify for, so the number you see is the number the school bills.

1 · Grade level
2 · How you attend
Pre-K3 half-week
Tuesday and Thursday. One set schedule for our youngest students.

Full-Time combines both tracks and saves $1,000 a year versus paying for each separately.

3 · Before & after care

Rates follow your 3 school days (M/W/F).

4 · Discounts you qualify for

Also plan for books ($250 to $500) and uniforms, bought separately each year. Aid and scholarships can lower this further.

Estimate only. Tuition and care figures are from the current fee schedule; books, uniforms, and any late-payment terms are not included above. The office confirms your family's final figure at enrollment.

Texas school choice (TEFA)

Cost-Affordable is one of our five C's, and Texas school choice backs it up: state TEFA funds can go toward tuition at VCA, a participating school.

Texas School Choice

Texas school choice can help pay tuition.

Through the Texas Education Freedom Accounts program (TEFA), the state puts money in an education savings account for approved families, and tuition at a participating private school is an approved way to spend it.

Vintage Christian Academy is accredited and participates in TEFA, so an award can follow your student here.

Who qualifies

Most Texas families with school-age children can apply. The state sets eligibility and makes the awards, and it gives priority to certain families when applications exceed available funding.

What the state provides

Award amounts are set and published by the state each cycle. For the 2026-27 school year: $10,474 for a student enrolled in a participating private school, up to $30,000 for a student with a disability, and $2,000 for a homeschooled student.

How to apply

Apply on the Texas Comptroller's site during the annual application window; awards fund the following school year. Between windows, the state keeps an interest list so you hear when the next one opens.

TEFA is separate from VCA's own discounts and financial aid. Families are welcome to pursue both, and we are glad to help you think it through.

Before You Apply

A partnership between home, church, and school.

A VCA education is a partnership between home, church, and school. Here is what we ask of every family.

  • You affirm our doctrinal statement and are a born-again Christian.
  • You stay active in a Bible-believing local church, with a letter of recommendation from your pastor.
  • You and your student agree to our Parent Conduct Policy and Student Honor Code.

FAQ

Common questions from prospective families.

Do we have to attend Vintage Church to enroll?

No. Families do not have to attend Vintage Church, but must be active in a Bible-believing local church, affirm the school's doctrinal statement, and provide a letter of recommendation from their church as part of the application.

Can my student keep up if they've never done classical education?

Yes. Your family interview includes a short reading and math placement test, so we can meet your student exactly where they are. It's about finding the right starting point, not disqualifying anyone.

Is financial aid available?

Yes. We offer financial aid and scholarships to families who are a good fit for VCA and need help covering tuition. Contact the admissions office to begin.

How large are the classes?

Small by design. Vintage Christian Academy keeps class sizes intentionally small so every student is known and taught well.
